Chew on a sprig or two after every meal. Other options include 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried parsley leaves or roots in a cup of hot water daily, 1 teaspoon of bruised seeds in a cup of hot water daily, 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of a liquid extract three times a day, 2 to 4 tablespoons of the fresh herb daily, or 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of a liquid seed or root extract daily. With frequent topical applications, black-and-blue marks often vanish in a day or so.
