Chaste tree

The chaste tree (Vitex agnus-castus), also known as vitex, is a small shrub that grows in Europe and in the southern United States. The berries of this shrub have the ability to restore the balance of estrogen and progesterone in women.

Uses of Chaste Tree Berry: Chaste tree berry is used to treat fibrocystic breast disease, infertility, menopausal symptoms and premenstrual syndrome.

Chaste tree Dosage Information: The preferred forms are tincture, capsules (containing dried herb), and the berries. It is also available as a powder. To prepare an infusion using the berries, add 1 teaspoon ripe berries to 1 cup boiling water and let steep, covered, for ten to fifteen minutes. Drink 3 cups per day.

Chaste treeFor other forms, follow dosage formation on the product package. Benefits are usually noticeable by day ten, but for best results, take chaste tree for six months or longer.
