What Carob herb Is:

This well-known, stimulant-free chocolate substitute used to be called St. John's bread and locust bean. It grows primarily in the Mediterranean areas of southern Europe, Africa, and Asia. Carob trees may grow up to 30 feet tall, and their wood has a pinkish tint. The chocolate alternative comes from the pulp inside pods that grow 6 to 12 inches long from the tree's small red flowers.
