Eczema prevent

An ounce of prevention

If you have sensitive skin, you need to avoid everything that irritates the skin or causes allergic reactions. Wear cotton instead of wool, silk, or synthetics. Keep your skin moisturized by taking quick showers (or baths) and frequent applications of moisturizer. If you swim in a chlorinated pool, rinse thoroughly to remove all traces of harsh chemicals.

CALL FOR HELP

The first time you develop eczema, your condition should be diagnosed and treated by a doctor. Subsequent outbreaks can be treated at home, except when you develop an open sore that shows sign of infection. Look for yellowish discharge or pus, swelling, and red streaks in the area of the site.
